RHF and CCFN marked World AIDS Day 2024 with a free medical outreach in Enugu, offering consultations, testing, and awareness to support and strengthen the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The RHF team conducted a two-day distribution of educational materials to OVCs in seven Ogbia LGA communities, providing exercise books, mathematical sets, and other stationery.

The RHF team, in partnership with GDSG, conducted advocacy visits to key stakeholders at state, LGA, and community levels, securing support for the HPDP-II project & recruits.

The RHF team held a Free Medical Outreach in Affa Amofia-Agu, Udi LGA, offering consultations, treatments, and health education to improve community healthcare access and awareness.

325 children, including one hundred RHF OVC, participated in a Kids’ Club activity in Ogbia LGA, engaging in creative, physical, communicative, and imaginative activities to boost self-esteem.

The RHF team distributed textbooks to 100 Orphans and Vulnerable Children across seven communities in Ogbia LGA, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed academically.

Sixteen PLHIV from Ogbia LGA were trained as Role Models and Mentors, covering topics like HIV knowledge, communication skills, family planning, depression management, and condom use.

Monthly meetings engaged CVs and TBAs across several LGAs for reporting, support, and improvement, alongside distributing 25-item birth packs to TBAs to enhance safe delivery and newborn care.

RHF conducted a 7-day HIV testing & enrolment exercise for an hundred OVC across Ogbia LGA. One child tested positive and was immediately referred and treated at the health facility.

A 5-day training equipped 12 participants, including OVC volunteers and members of God’s Deliverance Support Group, with skills and strategies for effective OVC programming, enrolment, and monitoring.
