Review Meeting with OVC & HBC Community Volunteers & Role Models respectively


The review meeting for OVC volunteers took place in Emeyal-II Town Hall on May 30, 2016 from 10am to 1:30pm. The meeting started at 9 am, with an opening prayer by a CV (Mr. Goodnews Benjamin).

The objectives of the meeting were to:

Discuss the successes and challenges with pre-enrolment of VCs
Review community Volunteers May activities
Mentor community volunteers on enrolment of assessed vulnerable children

Community Volunteers were mentored on how to assess children pre-enrolled and paired in teams for the enrolment of vulnerable children. A total of 10 Community Volunteer's attended the review meeting and were paid their transportation and May stipend. A total of ten (10) community volunteers and 3 project staff were in attendance.

The three RHF staff that co-ordinated the review meeting include:

♦ M&E Officer (Eze Friday),
♦ Project Manager (Mrs. Chioma Isiugo)
♦ Project Accountant (Mr. Ayebonoa Alagoa).

Review of May activities for community volunteers including successes, challenges and way forward were done. Plans for June activities were made with time lines and persons responsible assigned.

Refreshments were served and stipends/transportation paid to the community volunteers for the month of May 2016. A community volunteer by name Benjamin Good news led the closing prayers as the meeting came to an end at about 4pm.
