Monthly M&E Meeting with OVC CVs

The monthly M&E Meeting took place at Otuoke Town Hall on November 28, 2016. A total of ten participants (M/2, F/8) attended the meeting. The Volunteers were drawn from the 7 project-targeted communities in Ogbia LGA.

The objectives of the meeting were to enhance the role of CVs in Monthly home visits, Data Tracking, and report collation.

The reports for the month of November 2016 were collected, and the VC service forms were also retrieved from the community volunteers. According to the reports, the children have been visited and they are all doing well. They have also been visited in their various schools, and they are doing well academically.

CVs were encouraged to conduct more home visits to assess the children’s state and refer any sick children to a health facility for necessary care. The referral forms were distributed for this purpose.

All CVs were urged to prepare the children in their various communities ahead of the upcoming kids’ club activities. Having exhausted the agenda for the day’s meeting, refreshments were served and allowances paid to participants
