At Royal Healthcare Foundation, our HIV & AIDS Project is a cornerstone of our mission, delivering essential interventions such as community outreach, HIV testing and counselling, and Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) services. Through the training of Community Volunteers and TBAs, we strengthen the support network for people living with HIV (PLHIV), helping them access life‑saving treatment and support systems.
Our team conducts regular community sensitization—often working closely with local health facilities and trusted partners like NEPWHAN—to drive testing campaigns and referrals. In one notable Medical Mission, over 100 attendees benefitted from free medical consultations provided by a dedicated team of doctors and nurses, emphasizing both clinical care and awareness.
We also prioritize reducing stigma, helping PLHIV feel supported rather than judged. By equipping trained volunteers with home-based care skills and the capacity to provide adherence support, we foster an environment where HIV is managed with dignity.
Our vision is a future where no one fears testing, treatment, or disclosure, and where communities are informed, compassionate, and resilient. Every counselling session, every referral, and every educational talk brings us closer to controlling HIV transmission and caring for those affected.
To support this effort—whether through volunteering, funding, or partnership—is to join a movement that combines compassion with public health expertise.
