Condom Messaging and Distribution of Condom at the Community Level
This activity was targeted at the general population at the community level, carrying out condom messaging and distribution of condoms and other IEC Materials. The aim was to pass across general prevention messages to the people for positive change in life style.
It took place at Emeyal-I& II, Kolo-I, II & III communities respectively. At Emeyal-I, a total of 30 (F/1, F/29) participants were mobilized by the RHF CVs at Emeyal-1 while at Emeyal -II, a total of 27 (F/18, M/9) were also mobilized by the CVs. In kolo-I, II & III a total of 50 persons were mobilized and sensitised on condom messaging including males and females (F/18, M/32)
General prevention messages were given to the participants who were all seated for the activity. Several questions were asked during the sessions and answers were provided by the RHF Team.
Condom demonstration was carried out; few participants were given opportunity to practice what they have learnt using the penal model. Condoms and lubricants were also distributed.
