The meeting took place on February 13, 2017, at Emeyal-I Town Hall, Ogbia LGA. A total of 26 (M/7, F/19) participants were in attendance. Participants were drawn from the seven project-targeted communities in Ogbia LGA; also present was the RHF team.
Objectives:
The purpose of the meeting was to support the CVs and mentors in enhancing their contributions to monthly home visits, data tracking, and the compilation of reports on defaulters, migration, death, and referrals.
The monthly reports were submitted by the HBC CVs, including the HBC service forms. Under the supervision of the RHF M&E Officer, the CVs did a thorough review of all data/reports from May 2016 to February 2017. Necessary corrections were made, and all service forms were properly arranged inside the HBC files.
RHF PM stated that M&E meetings will no longer be held in this phase of the project since the RHF/BYSACA/HPDP-II project will be coming to an end by February 28th, 2017. She further advised that the CVs should not neglect all they have been taught in the area of Home-Based Care Services.
She informed participants that a sustainability plan/end-of-project review meeting with HBC CVs/Role Models would be held, and urged all to be available, as the sustainability plans would be discussed after the project’s conclusion.
In the absence of other discussions, refreshments were served and allowances were paid to participants.
