2 Community Outreaches in Agbada Inyi, Oji-River LGA

On November 11, 2015, two community outreaches were conducted in Agbada Inyi, Oji-River LGA, Enugu State. The activities focused on HIV Counselling and Testing (HCT), with trained counsellors providing pre-test and post-test sessions to participants.

As part of the prevention education component, both male and female condom use was demonstrated to community members, ensuring they understood the correct methods of use to prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. The demonstrations were interactive, with opportunities for participants to ask questions and clarify misconceptions about condom use and sexual health.

The outreach combined HCT services with practical prevention strategies, thereby addressing both immediate testing needs and long-term behavioural change for HIV prevention within the community.

The results were listed below
