The RHF team conducted HIV testing and enrolment of Vulnerable Children simultaneously for the first 3 days, and subsequently continued with enrolment for a total of 7 days.

The testers were BYSACA trained HCT volunteers, and were assisted by the project team. The Community Volunteers (CV's) supported to mobilized the Vulnerable Children at different venues to facilitated the 3 days testing process.

The testing of VC took place in Otuoke community while VC in Emeyal-I & II communities were brought to Otuoke community for testing. The exercise continued to Kolo communities and finally Ogbia main town on the third day. A total of 100 (M/, F/) children were tested.

Only one male child tested positive in Otuoke community. He was referred to Otuoke health facility and was follow-up as he has started taking treatment. All materials used for the activity in the various communities were domiciled at the nearest Primary health centres.
